Our chlorinators generate hypo with the highest chlorine concentration that is economically possible, for example 8000 ppm by Brine (Fresh Water + Salt) both continuous and batch type Systems; 3 ppm by Swimming Pool (online continuous) Systems; 2 ppm by fresh water (online continuous) systems.

According to the client’s specification, our systems are fail-safe and interlock controlled either locally or by remote; They are designed for both safe and hazardous area optionally with full certification; with acid cleaning system or acid free self-cleaning system like reverse polarity and high flow velocity CTE construction.

Technologies:

The process of glass fibre filament winding is used for tank construction.  It’s high tensile strength resulting in high hoop tensile strength of the shell (250 MPa). Production process is tested as per BS 4994 standard.  

To prevent deflection due to soil overburden and vehicle load, the section modulus is increased by increasing the thickness of the shell and the L/D ratio is reduced by providing the stiffeners.   
To counter buoyancy force (assuming empty tank and fully saturated soil) Anchors are provided with nylon strap around the tank.    

Made from homogeneous type composite. It never allows percolation of even moisture from earth to tank or tank to earth. It is Impervious.  

Unlike thermoform resin like PVC or HDPE, the polymerised thermoset resin will not be affected by heat or weather conditions.

COMPOSITE BIO-SEPTIC TANK


“Comp-SEP”, a Factory manufactured Composite Underground Septic Tank comes with internal partition and leak proof (air tight)  construction. The insulating nature of the composite material maintains temperature inside the tank to allow the growth of the bacteria that digest solid waste. An innovative way to generate Sodium hypochlorite which minimizes the loss reactions.

Onsite Sodium hypo chlorite generators:
The last decade has seen the introduction to the market of a number of small     electrolysis cells for the generation of a low concentration (8gpl) hypochlorite; in many applications either type of cell could, in principle, be employed and the choice then depend on technological factors. In the water and effluent treatment industry, the common applications of onsite hypochlorite cells will include the treatment of sewage, the sterilization of water for food processes and hospital laundries, the treatment of water on board ships and for swimming pools, the treatment of cooling water at coastal power stations to prevent the growth of shell fish and seaweed in the pipes and the oxidation of cyanide ion in effluents.  Traditionally all these markets have been satisfied by liquid chlorine or high strength Sodium hypochlorite (100 to 120gpl), tanked from the large chlor-alkali plants, but there is now awareness to avoid the potential hazards with the        transportation and storage of these items.
Design considerations:
Electrolytic chlorinators can be designed to generate continuous or batch supplies depending on system needs. The loss reactions are to be reduced.
The losses while producing hypochlorite are due to anodic and auto catalytic       reactions, and cathodic reduction. In the cell design this is avoided by reduced     cathodic area and large flow rate than the design flow rate. Since these are being less practical, the present models are produced without consideration to these loss reactions resulting in low concentration hypo to less than the optimum        concentration. A hydrogen gas lift similar to the chlorate cells have proved much efficient, provided the circulation rate is much higher. Since typical potable water contains hardness, it is advisable to have least residence time in the cells by  increasing the velocity of circulation more than ten times the production rate.
Lift Coefficient:
A semi empirical formula to  express the hydrogen to lift one gallon of solution is
VH = 0.8[Ht /C log10 (Hs+34)/34]
Where VH is the volume of Hydrogen in ft 3, and C is constant (Lift coefficient characteristic to the type of cell design varying with total head and need to be                   experimentally determined)
Ht= Total ht in ft and Hs= Ht from the liquid surface to the bottom of the cell.
In the above equation all the terms are known excepting C and once it is experimentally found out the required variation in flow rate can be achieved by altering the Ht and Hs.
Example:

Supposing a 750 gm/hr cell lift 850 liters of solution187 (gallons)
VH =8.357 /187=0.0447 ft 3 Hydrogen for a Ht of 10 feet and Hs =9ft
Then C = 1743 approximately. With the lift coefficient the respective heights for a           required flow rate can be varied.
The flammability of limits based on the volume percent of hydrogen air at 14.7 Pisa are 4.0% and 75.0% respectively, hence to keep the concentrations below the threshold limit of 4.0% it should be diluted with air produced by blowers.
Controls:

With adequate control of dosing in to the treatment process it is imperative to maintain the desired residual. The residual analyzers DPD colrimetry or Amperometric                   instrument be located as close to the sampling point as possible. Tiaano® with the required instrumentation and control have installed various versions at Mumbai,     Trivandrum, and Chennai municipal corporations in India.

Special chemical & physical properties like high corrosion resistance, thermal conductivity and catalytic nature, platinum is widely used as electrodes in metal finishing industries. Being a very expensive metal, instead of using solid form, platinum is deposited on the surface of titanium or niobium or tantalum, occasionally on molybdenum by micron level layer. Electrodes [Anodes or Cathodes] are available with hanging hook, frame or band; in the form of sheet, mesh, pipe, wire, rod and custom built. Platinised titanium anode is used in electrolytes having no fluoride. Platinised niobium anodes are used in electrolytes having fluoride, where we need better conduction (its conductivity is three times of titanium) & also it is suitable for Sulphuric acid chromium plating bath operated at current density greater than 75A / dm².
Common Laboratory Beaker anodes are used for Laboratory Plating tests, small batch plating, electrochemical production of organic, inorganic and many other compounds. The common beakers are available in the sizes of 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 & 5.0 liters by volume. Standard Platinized Titanium Anodes [PTA] and Platinized Niobium Anodes [PNA] are available for said glass beakers. Anodes are available in the form of expanded mesh with hook, strips with hook and tube for some special applications. Platinised anodes are available with the standard platinum plating layer thickness of 2.5 micron. Plating thick can be increased up to 20 micron depending to the customer’s requirement. PTA anodes are used for the production of chlorates and perchlorate and in plating bath as insoluble anodes. 
Platinised titanium, niobium and tantalum anodes are having the advantages of Low weight because of low surace area due to the high current density - good current resistance; Long life operation - maintenance free; Economical - due to low platinum requirements; High dimensional stability and low resistance; highly suitable as auxiliary anodes of complex geometrical shapes.
